The Methodist Country House is a sprawling senior living retirement community that underwent a massive renovation to expand the amount of housing, entertainment, and dining features. The fire department had difficulty navigating the community and understanding the associated fire protection systems.
FIRE DEPARTMENT CHALLENGES
Large wood frame building added to an already complicated structure
Unknown location of apartments and protected stairwells
Unknown location of sprinkler controls and standpipe connections
Partially below-greade parking garage with electric vehicle charging
OUR SOLUTIONS
Identify garage entrances, vehicle charging areas, and garage ventilation fans.
Identify protected stairwells, hose connections, and sprinkler controls
Identify the location of garbage chutes, elevators, and protected stairwells.
Display the wing names and locations and the fire dept. connections for each.
